Don’t worry if you miss a screening — Movie Nite on the Strand will be back for the first weekend of every month throughout the year.

Hot Rod and Classic Car Show

May 21

For car enthusiasts everywhere, you’re not going to want to miss the Hot Rod and Classic Car Show. Attendees can observe an extravagant lineup of classic car models, as well as explore their expanded section. All models will be older than 1975, meaning you can witness a piece of history that might not exist for much longer. Tasty bites will be served on-site, so no need to fill up beforehand.

Texas Gourmet Market

Nestled in the heart of League City, the Texas Gourmet Market is no ordinary weekend event — it’s a celebration of food and coming together as a community. Brought to you by the Associated Credit Union of Texas, the Gourmet Market features a wide variety of local food and specialty small business vendors. 

Habitat for Humanity 5K

May 21

Kickstart your health and wellness journey with the Bay Area Habitat for Humanity, the only non-profit home builder in the Galveston, Southeast Harris and Northern Brazoria County area, for their 5K walk/run. The journey will begin in Walter Hall Park, so be sure to grab your best pair of sneakers before you hit the track.

Film and Float Nights

June 11 & 17, July 9 & 16

No need to travel far to have fun with the whole family, especially when the Coastal Point community hosts its own events all throughout the year. Coming up this summer are our annual Film and Float Nights — an opportunity to watch your favorite films under the stars while sitting poolside. Join the locals at the Coast House and indulge in some movie theater popcorn in an evening of summer-time fun.
